  This is my favorite place to go for deals on jewelry and musical instruments. You never know what is new there. They also will buy just about anything from you.

  Inconsiderate of people, only thinking of making money for themselves but without people pawning items, they wouldn't be where they are. Super rude pawn fits better.

  If I could give a negative-star rating, believe me, I would. Bunch of rude a-holes. I called to ask about selling a couple of never-before-used cordless drills that I had lying around. I was pretty straightforward with my inquiry, didn't want to waste their time. I wasn't brash or rude or pushy; I gave the proper "hi how are you," "please & thank you," the works, I spoke with the kind of southern-gentlemanly respect my parents raised me to show others. I gave the model number and asked if that was the kind of thing they keep an eye out for. The guy says, "Listen, kid, this is a pawn shop, we help people out - nobody here is stepping over each other to buy your drills, OK? We could care less. Just bring them in and I'll tell you what they're worth." So what did I do? I walked straight past this lousy shop and went to the place a few doors down, Beach City Pawn & Discount Guitar, where I spoke with a guy named Clay who not only was helpful and polite, but was stoked at the pristine condition of the drills and offered me a very good price on them, mentioning how easy they would be for him to sell, adding that they were "an ideal find" given the condition and the make and model, which are in high demand. Long story short - don't go to Huntington Super Pawn, they were so incredibly rude over the phone that I didn't once even consider setting foot inside the joint. Instead, go just a few doors south of them on Beach Blvd to Beach City Pawn and ask for Clay. Huntington Super Pawn is super-rude and super-useless, don't dignify them with your business, take your merchandise next door instead.
