  After filing my basic 08 tax, I requested H&R Block from Huntington Beach, CA to assist me in making a 1040x amendment to claim some overpaid amount on my Social Security. They struggled to do it, because their software didn't seem to have what was needed for that category. The Tax Advisor told me he would seek help from his seniors and get the job done. After one week without any news, I called trying to speak to the Tax Advisor who wasn't available. I left a message but never got a return call. Finally I went back at their office and the Tax Advisor told me he couldn't do it for the same reasons above. He never told me whether he did seek his seniors as previously indicated. I found another company who did it very easily. I can't help but conclude H&R Block ads "You Got People" & "We are professionals" are nothing but a phrase.
